Since the founding of Tzu Chi in 1966, Tzu Chi volunteers have been working tirelessly to carry out Tzu Chi's Four Missions of Charity, Medicine, Education, and Culture around the world.
Charity---Extending aid to all those in need throughout the world
Medicine---Safeguarding lives with love, and continuously conducting medical researches to benefit those who suffer from illness
Education---Providing a complete education system that nurtures love and compassion in children from an early age, and guiding them to make the best use of their full potential through benefiting others in society
Culture--- Spreading the ideal of Great Love throughout the world via different media such as television, radio, and publications
As Tzu Chi enters its fifth decade, we remain unwaveringly committed to Tzu Chi's Four Missions of Charity, Medicine, Education, and Culture. Through Da Ai TV, Da Ai e-Radio, and other publications, we strive to provide in-depth coverage of wholesome news as well as real-life stories in hopes of spreading the spirit of Great Love throughout the world.
On January 1, 2005, Tzu Chi's culture center officially opened at Tzu Chi's Guandu branch in Taipei. The new building is home to Da Ai TV, Da Ai e-Radio, and other publications. The integration of all print and electronic media helps to ensure that Tzu Chi's culture of humanity can become more widespread through all kinds of media.
